We, the sisters of Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Incorporated, strive to strengthen Sisterhood amongst women by providing service and promoting cultural diversity to our members and our community, thus securing the bond of kinship for posterity.
Kappa Phi Lambda exists to further educate individuals about Pan-Asian culture, while keeping our own identities. We aim for academic excellence, keeping in mind the importance of education and learning as the key to strength, awareness, and fulfillment.
We have taken part in numerous community service events, the most recent being Habitat for Humanity & helping out with the Comsewogue Youth Club as well as our yearly service to the March of Dimes annual Walkamerica. We also collaborate with on-campus organizations such as Project Sunshine to give back to our community. We are also very glad to take part in volunteering for the Out of the Darkness Walk in New York City starting this year to help our Annual Out of the Darkness Banquet.

Children International is a nonprofit humanitarian organization dedicated to bettering the lives of impoverished children, their families and communities.
We achieve our goals primarily through child sponsorship, which unites children in need with individual sponsors who wish to address the children's immediate and basic needs. Sponsorship gives poor children the tools and opportunities necessary for success by providing benefits and supporting programs for each child - primarily in the areas of education and health
Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority is a growing Asian American interest sorority. While we celebrate all the Asian countries prospering in America, we also recognize the issues faced by Asian American women. Despite the independent and bountiful state of this country, our people are slipping through the socio-economic cracks of our government. Our national philanthropy is about empowering Asian American women by helping them overcome issues from domestic violence, hate crimes, economic injustice, to immigration rights. Thenational organization, National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum, works on a grassroots level for social and economic justice and the political empowerment of Asian and Pacific American women and girls. Through national campaigns including legislation reform, media attention, and grassroots movements, they are working on 6 platforms including civil rights, economic justice, educational access, ending violence against women, health, and immigrant and refugee rights. Kappa Phi Lambda pledges to donate to this national organization which benefits Asian American women. Our goal is to empower women living in poverty, fear, and illness.
